Finding Happiness...

Hello everyone! Had been a long time I scribbled something up, isn't it? Well, I was a bit stuffed up with my personal works, & hence couldn’t continue my 'once-a-week' schedule of writing new posts in my blog. But nevermind, I am back with a new topic for my loving, sincere readers. Hope you enjoy reading it :-)

Happiness…well, it can be defined both as a one-liner, as a paragraph, or someone can even write an essay on it. It seems that people understand it's meaning quite well. But the irony lies here… Although they understand it's meaning well, but they hardly become successful in achieving it.
(At this point, I must stop for a while & make an obvious point--> I am not a philosophical expert, neither I am trying to give some religious lectures on how to achieve happiness or something. I am just sharing my viewpoints on this whole thing.)

After all, Nobody can achieve the highest level of happiness for eternity, because the moment they reach this level, the current highest level shifts to a new higher level. In a nutshell, the previous line just expands the well-known fact: Man Is Greedy

But, inspite of that, we can do a few things (which might not necessarily achieve this "happy-forever" model), but would atleast try to accomplish a miniature version of it.

Follow these points sequentially
  • Stop lamenting  --> Obviously. An hour of pondering & lamenting over the matter, along with a bucket full of tears would do no good. [ Yeah crying is necessary sometimes…but a bucket? Seriously? :'( :P ].
  • Cut at the roots  -->  Yes. That's important. If you are unhappy, first & foremost identify all those negative energies which are responsible for your sadness. And only one thing left to do. Delete them from your memory (Shift + Del, pun :D).
  • Be Strong  --> Be mentally strong (Sorry six-packians, I didn’t mean physique :P), & thus make yourself adaptable in handling any kind of traumatic situation.
  • Expect Failure  --> Ofcourse. Rome was not built in a day, & so expecting success at the first attempt is like dreaming to become Zuckerberg overnight. Learn from the mistakes, and as the wise man says, "Try & Fail…But Never Fail To Try".
  • Be Satisfied  --> Well it is perhaps one of the most important points (ummm, all of them are important though :D). Believe it or not, the other name for "Happiness" is "Satisfaction". If you are completely satisfied with something, then you are well on with it. "Everyday try to do a lot, but at the end, even if it is a little, be content with it". And happiness will follow automatically.
  • Keep yourself happy  --> Sounds quite mainstream, right? Well I have a good  (& obvious) idea to achieve the same. Do try to achieve something, everyday. Now, there would be days which would be quite fruitful for you, while the rest would be non-productive days. Here comes the twist… Make them productive! Not necessarily by what job you are already doing, but by trying out something new [in which you hold the degree of an expert! :-) ] for a while! That can be any job…from any hard, tedious job to a simple job, even any small activity/passtime you are interested in! Just make sure you are good at it, & thus can achieve a feat on it. This point is a direct consequence of the fact, that it's human nature to ponder over what outcome we did achieve at the end of the day. So everyday, before you go to sleep, make sure you have something good to ponder about, regarding what you did on that very particular day!

And last but not the least… Spread Happiness & Positivity! Even if you follow all the above steps & still can't get yourself out of the trauma, just try to make some other person happy! Because this very notion… that someone else is happy due to "ME" , itself is a boon & quite relieves us of our sadness to a great extent, if not completely!
Trust me, it works! :-)

So that's all from me for now. Hope you liked reading it. Do follow up with your views on the comments section below. Thanks again for reading!
